"Why Qualification is Important in the Installation of RES & PV Systems?"
Hamburg, Germany, 4th September 2011
The high renewable energy market growth rates experienced in recent years have resulted in an increasing demand for competent specialists able to install faultless and efficient renewable energy systems (RES). However, having a substantial demand is no sole guarantee for recruiting qualified and skilled installers.
The workshop addressed this certain subject by discussing how the qualification of installers directly determines the quality of RES and PV systems. Previous participants of the ‘Train the trainers courses’ of the Install+RES project shared their experience, whilst representatives from banks and insurance companies enhanced their argumentation to support and encourage the deployment of qualified installers.
The workshop was organised within the framework of the Install+RES project which is co-financed by the European Commission under the Intelligent Energy Europe Programme.
